Clean Water Filters for More than 70,000 Ukrainians!

Updated: Jan 26, 2023

YOUR SUPPORT HAS DELIVERED OVER 3,600 FILTERS TO UKRAINE - Serving over 70,000!

Thank you, everyone! When this campaign first started just over 2 months ago, we felt God call us to get involved. Not just touching the problem, but becoming a real solution and a viable solution to the problem. We prayed and felt that God called us to not only raise awareness about this tragedy but to gather our community around this cause and offer them a true opportunity to make a real difference and impact. CLEAN WATER! Who knew that this would quickly become one of the greatest needs of the mothers, children, fathers, and freedom fighters. We are making a difference, You're making a difference. Thank you to all who have heard the call and answered with support and prayers! We could not have done this without your support and prayers. But, we have only just touched the tip of the iceberg. UNICEF reports that over 6 million people are at risk of contaminated water and thousands are at risk of death from contamination, cholera, and dehydration. Here are some pictures of where our filters are present! WATER for ALL has the vision to deliver enough filters to serve over 1 million Ukrainians.

HOW DOES YOUR FILTER WORK? AND IS IT EFFECTIVE?

In the picture above, you will see our Vivoblu filter inside the cool army green water bladder. This is combination is how we are deploying the filters. We decided to do this particular configuration to allow for instant access to clean water, fast flow rate, and portability. Our filter is a gravity-fed 0.1 Micron hollow fiber membrane filter. There are over 1,300 tiny tubes in our filter that stops 99.99999% of all bacteria and are contaminated. What does that mean? Well to put it simply, it takes really dirty and contaminated water sources and makes it safe to drink. And what else is amazing about our technology is that we made it simple to maintain. NO more backwashing or extra tools to clean the filter. All you have to do is just simply rinse the filter to keep it clean. Our filter is so simple to use and it can last up to 3 years. This allows the people of Ukraine to not only have access to clean water today but also after the war ends and through the rebuilding of the country.

Here are a few links to watch to learn more about our Technology.

THE WAR HAS KILLED OVER 4,700 CIVILIANS AND 330 CHILDREN

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) verified a total of 4,731 civilian deaths during Russia's military attack on Ukraine as of June 26, 2022. Of them, 330 were children. Furthermore, 5,900 people were reported to have been injured. However, OHCHR specified that the real numbers could be higher. Published by Statista Research Department, Jun 29, 2022.

Please pray for the Widows and Orphans of Ukraine. This war is hitting so many people in different ways. As we build deeper relationships with our partners on the ground we hear more stories, and learn more about the needs of the people.

When we were at the Young Life Refugee camp, we were able to hear stories from a few refugees, not many wanted to tell their stories. We couldn't even imagine the trauma and horror that so many have faced during this war. We heard a story of a young boy (get his name) who lost his mother when Russian soldiers took their machine guns and fired upon the bus she was riding in, killing everyone on the bus. The wounds were still very fresh, and I couldn't believe the strength he had while telling his story. The incident only had happened a few weeks prior to our meeting him and he was so brave and honest about this experience. Another woman (get her name) told her story of what happened when the Russian soldiers came to her town and took her neighbors and forced them out of their own homes. This precious lady was so scared and was traumatized by the experience. These stories and more will soon be available as we launch the Water for All Youtube Page.
